Description
Made from the traditional Corvina and Rondinella grapes, the wine is ruby colour with a vibrant perfume of black cherries and raisins.
Amarone is made by the thousand year-old technique of Appassimento - after being harvested, the grapes are left to dry for three to four months, which concentrates the flavours. Amarone is an extremely special red wine and Italian gift to the world of wine.
In the course of time Allegrini has fine tuned it's production with the aim to preserve the authentic character of the fruit and has established itself as one of the truest entrepreneurs of this classic style.
Amarone can age for 20 years if desired. A beautiful food wine.
