Description
In practical terms, each stage of the process from the selection of the grapes right through to bottling is treated with the utmost care and with one aim: to produce a top quality wine, truly representative of Bordeaux.
Sirius is a moderrn classic, which combines elegance and character. A deep ruby colour, expressive aromas. The tannins are ripe and balance the blackcurrant and berry flavours. A touch of vanilla and toast adds extra interest.
The vineyards are located along the banks of the Garonne river, on mainly clay-limestone soils. The vines have an average age of 30 years and the wine is a traditional composition of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Once the vats are blended, Sirius is aged in French oak barriques for 12 months.
(65% Merlot - 35% Cabernet Sauvignon)
