Description
In a land far far away the king of grapes - Cabernet Sauvignon, reigns supreme and due to a fair wind and maritime climate the wines are a ripe reflection of those made in the red wine kingdom of Bordeaux.
Alas, the Cabernet in the northern hemisphere doesn't always ripen and can be nasty and mean and so gentle Merlot is added. This fruity Cabernet/Merlot blend benefits from the sunny and warm Margaret River climate and is a pleasure now.
Cape Mentelle is a highly regarded producer and this wine is recommended.

The grandson of an Australian winemaking legend, Jack Mann, Robert shares a love of Cabernet and fine cuisine with his late grandfather who once declared that “Cabernet Sauvignon is the only variety that should be allowed in Heaven”.
Robert gained extensive experience in Europe and around Australia before turning his considerable talent to the wines of Cape Mentelle.
