Delivery Information
- Christmas Delivery
We are sorry, however we cannot guarantee that orders will arrive before Christmas. Orders will be dispatched by us in the usual efficient manner, so you should not be waiting for too long. - Delivery is £6.95 within mainland UK.
- Delivery is usually between 0900 and 1730 hours.
- Our courier is UKMail. You can expect them to be courteous, reliable and careful with your goods. Please inform us if you are disappointed with their service.
- We guarantee that your order will arrive at the destination you have requested within seven working days. However, your order is likely to arrive sooner.
- For urgent deliveries please contact us and we will help if we can.
- Working days for delivery are Monday to Friday. We can deliver on a Saturday or before noon, but additional costs apply. Please see below.
- We are unable to deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
- A person over the age of 18 must sign for your delivery.
- Our courier will not leave your goods without a signature.
- We regret that we are unable to guarantee delivery times, unless you have requested and paid for a specific delivery time.
- Please ask us if you would like to request delivery on a specific date outside our seven working days guarantee. No promises, but as always we will help if we can.
- The courier will make 2 delivery attempts. Please see Tips and Advice for further info.
- After you have placed your order, you will receive an internet tracking number so you will be able to track your goods.
Special Requests
Delivery on a Saturday to UK mainland is an additional cost of £29.95.
Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands and all
other UK offshore destinations
Delivery charge is £24.95.
Delivery on a Saturday is £30.95
Delivery to Europe
Each consignment has a maximum weight up to 31 kgs. A case of 12 wines (75cl bottles) weighs about 18 kilos.
Delivery is £29.95 to the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands.
Delivery is £29.95 to the following countries: Austria, Czech Republic, FInland, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
Please contact us for a quote to all other European destinations. A customs surcharge per consignment will apply to non-EU countries.
Shipping to the US
Shipping wine to the US is a bit complicated, however
if you are considering a large order, please contact us and we will try to assist you by making special arrangements. (Small
orders are unlikely to be worth your time because of the cost of shipping!)
Delivery tips and advice
- Our couriers need a signature for the delivery and so please ask for a delivery destination where somebody over the age of 18 will be in.
- If you are out during the day, you could use a business address or a neighbour's address.
- If you are sending your goods as a gift for someone else, please consider if they will be available to sign for the delivery. You could choose a friend or third party as an alternative.
- If you miss your delivery, then the courier will leave a card. Please contact the depot ASAP to arrange another delivery date.
- Our courier will make 2 attempts to deliver your goods. If you miss both attempts, the courier will apply a charge of £5.00 per consignment for additional delivery attempts. The consignment will be returned to us, after 5 working days from the due date of delivery if the courier does not receive further instructions from you.
- Please examine your goods when they are delivered and advise the courier if anything appears to be missing or damaged. Then contact us and we will sort out the problem.
- Sorry, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
- All deliveries shipped are exclusive of insurance. If you wish to insure your goods in-transit please make arrangements prior to our dispatch.
